Which browser can I use to access FIZ/STN via Internet ?

Generally you can use any browsers available for your computer. Our pages are optimized for Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer. To use STN Easy you should have Netscape 4.0+ or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0+. STN on the Web works with Netscape Navigator 4.x (on Windows 95/98/NT, Macintosh and UNIX platforms) and with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x/5.x (Windows 95/98/NT, UNIX). JavaScript must be enabled.

What do I have to do, if I want to setup the FIZ Homepage as Startpage?

with Netscape :

1. Click on EDIT in the Menu
2. Choose PREFERENCES
3. Go to NAVIGATOR and enter the URL: http://www.fiz-karlsruhe.de as Homepage Location

with Internet Explorer:

1. Click on EXTRAS
2. Choose INTERNETOPTIONS
3. Enter the URL: http://www.fiz-karlsruhe.de as starting Page
